Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor from 11 November 1996. She made her debut in the Bond film called A View to a Kill in the year 1985. In 1989 she played the archaeologist who was sympathetic to Nazis Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody was a model when she was approached. The outcome proved to be an extremely lucrative profession. Doody strictly avoided the glamour of thongs, nakedness and nudity during her modeling career. She was cast in a minor role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill when she was noticed by the director who cast her. Doody is listed within John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3 as being one of the 12 promising actors from 1986. 38. Doody was only 18 at the time of her first appearance in the Bond part. Today, she is the youngest Bond girl. A Prayer for the Dying featuring Mickey Rourke in 1987, was a film from the beginning where Doody played IRA Siobhan. Doody played the role of Archibald's wife, Lilias In his dream in the television adaptation The Secret Garden. The Storyteller episode from 1988 included her in the leading role in Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She worked with Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer and an archaeologist for forensics in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody acted alongside Sean Connery, who played Indiana Jones' father. In 1991 Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the publishing fraud known as the Hitler Diaries. She subsequently relocated to Hollywood. The actress later became Flannery her agent as well as girlfriend in Major League II. She was chosen to be the replacement for Cybill Shepherd, who was L'Oreal's first spokeswoman. Doody was a part of The 2004 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine played her in a ceremony for an award. The roles she played include the TV film version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004 and a book about the Holocaust, and an animated short called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody appeared as a character in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. Then, she appeared on RTE's Medical thriller The Clinic. She was scheduled to also play the lead role in a remake in 2011 of the horror classic The Asphyx. However, the project was ultimately canceled. Pam Jefferson, the character she played on E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season that ran for two years. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. The 21st of November, 2018, she was honored by the Almeria Tierra de Cine award and was awarded the honor of a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
